The latest girl news:

There is some anonymous reader who keeps commenting about my blogs, and wants to know more about my “love life.”

So, about a week ago, “Denver” came to me and told me that her relationship with “Justin” was not going so well. Remember, that at this time we were pseudo-friends. I was still sort of rattled about our “falling-out,” but I was very anxious about being friends with her again. She’s just a really fun person. The fact that she came to me at all was kinda weird.

So, I listen. Because a good friend should. I listen, because listening is one of the best things you can do to tell someone that you love them, without telling them that you love them. I listen because Elihu listened in the book of Job. I listen because I’m genuinely interested in where Denver has been since I left her in a daze.

She’s having trouble with Justin because they disagree on some basic doctrines of the Bible. You really should settle these issues as soon as possible in any relationship. If you and your significant other can learn to love each other despite your differences, then how then will your children deal with these differences? How can you teach your children about these things without prejudice to your own view.

So, they broke up a few days later. And subsequently Denver and I have become friends again. I’m SO VERY relieved that our relationship has been put back together. She’s a nice kid – got a great attitude toward life.

I would like to see if things can work out with us, but I’m not going to push it again. I’m going to ride the wave for a little while, and see where it takes us. I want to be sure that (if something does happen) I don’t mess it up again.

The latest Grade news:

My first class in THREE years has been completed. It was a month-long “cram class” called Physical Science Lab. I got 88% as a total grade for the class. This is a B (regular type, not B+ or .

This is a pretty good deal, but it kind of ruins the 3.5 GPA goal that I had for the semester. I think if I got an A+ in all of my other classes, then I should be able to get that 3.5…but realistically that’s not going to happen.

Written Communication is a terrible class. Other colleges call this class English Composition, but here at CCCB we have to rename every class.

I feel VERY confident that I got a 100% on my recently submitted Greek mid-term. I was very prepared for that test.

Restoration History blows me away every time I walk into the classroom. It’s very hard for me to swallow. There is so much stuff that is discussed; I don’t know what to do with most of it.

sounds like "denver" is a nice girl. but dont forget to keep your eyes open to other options. you never know what god has in store for you. i have found the greatest loves in one of my close friends that i would not have thought of that way.
and congratulations on the tests. i am sure you will do well in your other courses, you seem quite focused and dedicated.
