I get an email yesterday that made me…

…hmmm, well…

…I had to check it out for myself. So I told her to call me the next morning to validate the claim of the email. I told her to call me at 11:00am so that I would be prepared. She didn’t call at 11:00 so I borrowed the roommate’s cell phone and called her mom. I was all like, “What is going on up there?”

“Nothing much, isn’t this good news?”

“Yeah, she was supposed to call me at 11:00, but she hasn’t yet. So, I need you to give me the dirt.”

“You’re going to have to ask her how it happened. I still don’t completely understand it yet.”

“Hmm, okay.” Then she was calling on the other phone (she was about 10 minutes late –no big deal). So, I finished speaking with her mom, and began my conversation with the great, and famous Jessica Doherty.

It seems that she is in love (GASP! Not the calculating, very smart Jessica Doherty from Marshall, Minnesota? Yes, the very same!) with a guy named Judd. Judd Guida. Don’t ask me to pronounce the last name; you should be happy I even spelled it right! They just kind of “decided” to get married this last week (rather than a traditional proposal) and they set a date for July third, 2004.

And I will be there to see the girl of everyone’s dreams be married to the luckiest guy in the world. I wouldn’t miss it for anything. I love ya, kid.

I did get a traditional proposal with a ring. It just came after the decision, the date, the dress, the church reservation, the $1000 deposit on the reception hall, the minister ok'ing the date and my hairdresser making an appointment and then cancelling it. But the point of this is, I did get proposed to. I know that will make you happy Tim. ALSO, I lost your email address again so you have to email me with it. I wrote to your old one but received no response so now I"m left to hearing about your life through blog.
