The second craziest thing I’ve ever done
So, here I am at Shasta Way Christian Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I’m sitting on my brand new Ruby Red Managers Chair, on my brand new EconomyMat (one of those plas-tech mats that you lay down on carpet so that your Ruby Red Managers Chair can move about without too much trouble).
…
Dave and I just got back from “calling” on people. I put calling in quotes because it can be a little troublesome to understand the definition of calling. Here at Shasta Way Christian Church it basically means that you drive around to different shut-ins, and sick people, and elderly, and people who have missed a few consecutive Sunday services in a row. We just come to their house and talk about life, and then we pray and leave. It’s really uplifting.
So, my typical day should be set up as follows:
8:30 – 11:30 in the office putting together lessons, and starting in June, working on my Life of Christ Class through correspondence at Ozark Christian College (Joplin, MO)
11:30 – 12:30 at lunch with Marlene and Dave, or with whomever would like to take me out to lunch.
12:30 – 4:30 the office is closed and I go calling with Dave.
There is SO much more that I want to write about, like the journey to get here, but I don’t have the time for that right now. I fell that I do that a lot in my life. This may sound conceded, or prideful, but I strongly feel like God has blessed me with REALLY great life experiences, and there are so many that happen so often that they overlap each other, and I don’t get to publish them. I am too busy doing the next crazy thing, to sit down and tell everyone about it.
Just in case there is that anonymous reader that would still read my blog (even after WEEKS of not posting) I do have a snippet of info for you:
I am very interested in a girl right now. And her name is Meagan *****. And I could talk for days about how great of a person she is.
One of my current goals is to set aside more time to post to my blog, so keep coming back… things are getting interesting.
