Living in the 90’s

Okay, So I’ve been as busy as a bumblebee as of late. That’s right: a bumblebee.

In my CD player right now: “Living in the 90’s” disc 1, track 11, “Baby It’s Tonight” by Jude Cole. Who the heck is Jude Cole? One-hit-wonder I imagine. …track 10 was “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

We got our mid-term grades last Friday and I’m doing a smidge better than I thought I was. Here is the grand tally:

Techniques of Teaching… B+
Restoration History…C
SALT… “In Progress” (this will be an A+ at semester end)
New Testament Survey…B+
Written Communication…B-
Greek Essentials…A
Physical Science Lab…B (this is my final grade for this class, cause it’s over now)
Beginning Youth Ministry…A

WITH A CURRENT GPA OF……3.11!!!

Restoration History is so low because we’ve only had a total of two venues for possible points, and they were both tests. I’m going to ask if any extra credit is available. But with at least 6 more tests over the rest of the semester, I should have this grade up to at least an A-.

I thought I was failing Written Comm, as this class WAS (as of last week) really hard to understand. The teacher has given us up to 90 extra credit points to earn, and I’m going for all of them.

The rest of my classes can only get better from here. So, in retrospect, I think I might be able to achieve that 3.5 that I’m aiming for!

On another topic…
I have developed a satire newsletter for the college, and I’m currently working on the HTML problems with it on the web… html isn’t that hard after you get it down.

It’s already on the net, but I’m not going to post the link until it’s good and ready (it should be about a week).

Eh.

I'm satisfied with my D- in Restoration History. It could have been worse.
